Sigute Miller has been a theater actress for over 50 years. She is a widely recognized Lithuanian actress, twice winning Best Actress Awards at International Theater festivals. She emceed the International Dance Festival in Los Angeles, and has been asked to speak at many events and fundraisers.
Sigute is fresh off the tour of her one woman show “Tragic Magic ~ A Story of Recovery”, which she wrote, performed and produced. The show debuted at The Whitefire Theatre's Solofest in March ‘22. She was invited back in ‘23, winning a “Best of the Fest” award. Because of popular demand, the show is being reprised for another run in 2024, starting off with the Solofest on February 18th.
The play had its premier run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June ‘22, winning a Hollywood Producers’ Encore Award. It was also selected for the world’s largest solo festival in New York, ‘United Solo’, receiving an Encore Award. In her hometown Chicago, she performed to sold out houses, graced with people she hadn’t seen in 50 years.
Sigute performed in the comedy "Freud On Cocaine", written and directed by Howard Skora at The Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, CA. The play opened September 8th 2023 and ran through November 4th to sold out audiences. The show will return March 29th - May 3rd 2024. As a member of the Echo Theater Company in Los Angeles, she has been seen in “Anon”, “Better”, “The Suitcase” and “Undivided Heart”. She performed at The Broadwater Theater in the comedy “Emergency Operation”, “We The People”, (playing Dr. Christine Blasey Ford), and “What’s in Front of Us”. Her most cherished performance was at the Victory Theater in “The Guys” - a tribute to the New York City fireman of 911.
Sigute is also a competitive swimmer with US Masters Swimming and has won numerous medals in age group swimming, including the Senior Games. She has won an individual Top Ten Standing and four relay ones, including one All American.
Staying close to her roots, she was the Western Regional Director of Lithuanian Scouts and has been camping and scouting for over 60 years. She is a member of the veteran women's scout group "Gražinietes" and "Daughters of Lithuania".
Sigute is a member of SAG-AFTRA.

I saw Sigute Miller’s lovely solo show earlier this year as part of the Whitefire Theatre’s Solofest. It was the last show of their run for me. Yet, after seeing many diverse and wonderful solo shows, I still wonder what it was about this particular one that stayed with me.
